When they die they do not die. They simply return to the over-layer and then come back again.
So in general terms, the Living Darkness cannot kill them

To be promoted, nascent Gods must stand against the full fury of the Warmasters of the Upper Hell (perhaps in a World War on Earth) and win.

When the Empires of the Living Dark defeat the warrior armies, the Gods of Warsimply rewind TIME and, knowing where they went wrong, fight the key battles again
