Do you believe in God, but hate the thought of organized religion?

.
Jesus hated the thought of organised religion
He wrote nothing down and he commanded his disciples not to write his words down. That’s why the four gospels were written retrospectively and conflict with each other on a number of points
.
.
The gospel of Mathew was written around 85AD by an unknown writer
The gospel of Mark was written around 65AD, possibly by a disciple of Peter
Nobody knows about Luke but 65AD is a best guess. It may have been written by a friend of the Apostle Paul
And they reckon the gospel of John was compiled between 1AD and 150AD
.
.
It is probable that Jesus’ disciples, in their ministry, repeated Jesus teaching verbatim. What you read in the bible is how Jesus’ disciples taught
Others wrote down what they said
All these bits and pieces were floating about
and around 65AD there was a concerted drive to compile them
.
.
The Apostle Paul was well aware that Jesus had commanded that his teaching was not to be written down. That’s why Paul only dictated ‘letters’.
Paul established churches all over the known world without ever issuing a single instruction manual.
He issued a comparatively small number of letters - when the situation was urgent and he could not get there
.
.
Lord Jesus eventually acknowledged the 5 main Christian churches in the first few chapters of the book of Revelation, and even then you can tell he’s not happy about it. There is no joyous welcoming. Far from it.
He won’t even speak to a church directly, but addresses himself to ‘the angel of the church’
Generally speaking he lists a church’s good points, warns it about its bad points, and then gives stern advice
.
.
It appears that through serious and regular worship
a church is accorded an angel
This connects the church to the Temple Of God in the Lower Heaven, which is also Lord Jesus in High Estate
(Yes, Lord Jesus is also a building. Your universe is built on it)
Once that is done, Jesus has to acknowledge that church
.
.
So the primary role of a church - and the role that connects it to God - is worship
And it is worth putting up with an organisation you don’t particularly like
And it is worth putting up with their sermons
for the opportunity to participate in a worship process that, at best, can connect you directly with Lord Jesus in High Estate, who is your universe
.
.
Jesus’ disliked organised religion because it generated phariseeism
He spent one third of his recorded ministry shouting his hatred of the Pharisees
And the Pharisees believed in God. Boy!, did they believe.
Their belief in God impacted every aspect of their lives. They lived and breathed belief in God. Nobody believed more strongly than the Pharisees
Yet Jesus told them bluntly they would not be going to Heaven
He was not having them in there
.
.
That’s something to think about
