"Can I be gay all my life and still get into Heaven if I ask for forgiveness from God, right before I die?"

.
The modern teaching of Christian pharisees is that you can be homosexual all your life and still get into heaven if you renounce it and say the magic words ‘I believe in Jesus’ right before you die
.
.
Phariseeism is rigid observance of external forms of religion without genuine piety. They treat the bible like a magic spell book. They worship its words, forms and phrases. They spend so much time ‘immersing in the word’ and writing on forums that they never actually do anything.
.
.
At one end you have people who alleviate suffering
At the other end you have pharisees studying ‘the word’
Which of these will get into Heaven?
What does your common sense tell you?
.
.
Jesus spent one third of his recorded ministry shouting his hatred of the Pharisees.
Nobody has ever believed in God more strongly than the Pharisees. Their belief affected everything they did and said
But Jesus told them in plain words that they would not get into Heaven
He was not having them in there
.
.
Christian pharisees worship magic words
and the more magic words they have the more thrilled they get
The bible contains 31,102 verses
but the four gospels only contain 3,779
That is an average of 945 words each and you only need to know one to know the whole of Jesus’ ministry
.
.
The bible is not the word of God
The four gospels are the word of God
and the four gospels depend on the 40 commandments Jesus’ gave at the sermon on the mount, and that’s only 111 verses
.
.
But if the Christian pharisees acknowledged that these 40 commandments had primacy they’d have to actually do something. They’d have to take action. They’d have to do more than read words and write words and worship words
Christian pharisees expanded ‘the word of God’ to all 31,000 verses in the bible so they can get away from / hide from / avoid the 111 verses of the sermon on the mount.
.
.
Jesus’ teaching on homosexuality is plain and simple
All sex outside of marriage is a sin, including lustful thoughts and masturbation
and thinking it is no greater or lesser sin than doing it. End of.
A Christian pharisee who sees an attractive woman and inadvertently thinks “I fancy that” as he walks by, commits exactly the same sin as two homosexuals actually having sex
So as everyone sins at the same level as homosexuality, including Christian pharisees, no one is going to Heaven unless Jesus’ forgives our sins
.
.
The elephant in the Christian room is that Creation Law cannot differentiate between thought and deed
so you either enforce iron discipline upon your mind 24/7/365
or accept that you are a base and continual sinner
So when Christian phariseess call homosexuals sinners, the pot is calling the kettle black
.
.
Who is of more spiritual worth?
A homosexual who is professionally engaged in alleviating suffering
or a Jehovah’s Witness porking it at a keyboard all day, trying to convert others who pork it at keyboards?
What does your common sense tell you?
.
.
Jesus’ requirements for access to Heaven are stated in his 40 commandments given at the sermon on the mount
Nothing less will do. Including magic words.
His judgement decision will be based on how hard you tried to keep those 40 decencies and how well you did
.
.
Lord Jesus is a personal God with supreme authority in our Universe
He will make his own decision on what happens to you after your death
and Jesus’ judgement decision will not be influenced or affected by the bible or the beliefs of the Christian church, or the magic word chanting of the Christian pharisees

"What is the best solution for theists to counter the ever increasing popularity of atheism among masses?"

 .
Snapshot Survey statistics are that 70% of people declare a belief in God in the USA and 25% declare a belief in God in the UK< world statistics believe in god >
 .
 .
However in the last UK census (2011) 59% of people identified as Christian
and only 25% said they had no religion
 .
 .
This indicates that 34% of the UK population identify as Christian but don't believe in God
This, of course, is incorrect
They believe in a higher power in some form. They just don't believe in the Christian church version of God
 .
 .
Since the English Evangelical Revival of 1701 people in the UK have been pestered with evangelical approaches which always start "Do you believe in God"After 218 years of it, that question is now welded to the Christian church in the minds of ordinary people
so now, when anyone asks that question, they say 'No'
But they are not rejecting God. They are rejecting the Christian church
 .
 .
There is no significant increase in atheism
Secularism is growing, and the numbers of those who declare they have no religion is increasing
In modern parlance, an atheist is someone who says there is no God
but in the UK most people have simply given up on the Christian church
.
.
The UK is one of the strongest markets in the world for Mind, Body, Spirit books
The Guardian newspaper reported that in 2017 sales rose 13% year on year
The following titles sell like hot cakes in the UK :-
Buddhist monk Haemin Sunim’s The Things You Can See Only When You Slow Down
Rhonda Byrne’s perennial bestseller The Secret
Eckhart Tolle’s 1999 guide to spiritual enlightenment, The Power of Now,
Gabrielle Bernstein’s The Universe Has Your Back,
Louise Hay’s You Can Heal Your Life
Dominique Loreau’s L’art de la Simplicite: How to Live More With Less.
The Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu’s The Book of Joy
 .
 .
The truth is that there is not an “ever increasing popularity of atheism among the masses”
There is an ever increasing rejection of the Christian church and all it stands for
The masses are more spiritually inclined now than they ever have been in the history of the world
but they are an educated population who will not be lied to by self-brainwashed loonies
 .
 .
I can’t remember the Government telling us, in 1957, that they were going to test a thermonuclear bomb. The first we heard about it was after they’d done it
One minute we were licking our wounds after Suez. The next minute we were in the middle of the nuclear arms race
The women of the UK went ballistic
They did not trust the male political establishment NOT to get us into another war
and they did not trust male British politicians with 520 thermonuclear warheads
 .
 .
From May 1957 on, the women of the UK banded together in a nation-wide concerted effort to take back political power from men
The church opposed them. The Christian church told them that their duty was to stay at home and do what their husbands told them
Coincidentally, the birth control pill became available to all on the National Health Service at a subsidised price in 1961
The women used the birth control pill and free sex to destroy the UK Christian church in the 1960s and 70s
 No-one has opposed them since
 .
 .
I was in the UK Protestant church during the 1970s and 1980s
Christian Pharisees had always been in the church, but they had always been a mouthy minority who everyone ignored. But as church attendance declined they gained more and more power in the church
 .
 .
In the 1970s and 1980s the Christian Pharisees prophesied that church attendance was declining because God was punishing the church for not having a hard enough pharisee attitude to the bible
They said that once the church got its house in order by throwing out everyone with a common-sense approach to scripture, then God would once again bless the church and attendance statistics would rise
 .
 .
Protestant Clergy fell for that Christian Pharisee story
and in that twenty-year period they conspired to drive out from the church every person who had a common-sense, practical approach to the bible
The statistics did not rise. They fell even more steeply. They went down the toilet.
But as the only people left in the church were Christian Pharisees there was no-one to hold them to account for their false prophesying
 .
 .
In the British Social Attitudes Survey …
In 1980 11.1% of the UK population, attended Church on a given Sunday,
In 2005 6.3% of the UK population, attended Church on a given Sunday,
In the 2001 census 71.7% identified as Christian
In the 2011 census 59.3% identified as Christian

If 71.7% of the population identified as Christian
 and only 6.3% attended church

Then the huge, vast, over-arching majority of Christians in the UK were/are opposed to the doctrine, dogma, attitude and policies of the UK Christian church

If the church was a democracy the current governance and clergy would be thrown out on their ear and would be lucky to make it to the end of the street without a beating
.
.
The Christian church needs to recognize that the great majority of every congregation is, and always has been, women
The Christian church needs to face up to the fact that it is, and always has been, a womens church
And modern, educated women are not going to put up with (not for a second) the Christian Pharisee brutalizing of Jesus’ message of love

"If the Biblical God is omnipotent and all-loving; why did he need to sacrifice Jesus at all?"

.
‘Omnipotent’ means having power and authority over all things
.
Psalm 135:6 – “The LORD does whatever pleases him, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths.”
.
Isaiah 46:10-11 – “I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’ From the east I summon a bird of prey; from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose. What I have said, that I will bring about; what I have planned, that I will do.”
.
.
There are no bible verses that say God is all-loving. The nearest is :-
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
.
.
Your whinge is that God can’t be omnipotent because he had to sacrifice his son
.
.
The obvious answer is that God, the creator of your universe and all other universes had a reason for doing what he did in the way that he did it
and it is not going to improve your life one way or the other to know what it was
.
.
I suppose the underlying whinge is that you believe this is a theological error which undermines 2,000 years of religious belief
.
.
Why did God create you with two arms instead of twenty?
Why did God create you with the capacity for intellectual rebellion when he didn’t need to?
Why did God put you in a world where the only certainty is pain and death and where it requires personal sacrifice to rise above the shit?
.
.
Because he’s making you into something
He’s sculpting your blood-line
He’s building humanity into a worthwhile creation
that will create their own environment, travel in time, and live forever
at a known point in the future
.
.
Love your enemies
bless them that curse you
do good to them that hate you

and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven:
for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends the rain on the just and on the unjust.
For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
.
.
Got it?

"If we cannot examine anything outside the natural world, why do we assume there is a supernatural world?"

.
The Science Council states that science is the pursuit and application of knowledge and understanding of the natural and social world following a systematic methodology based on evidence
.
.
Standards for scientific evidence vary according to the field of inquiry, but the strength of scientific evidence is generally based on the results of statistical analysisand the strength of scientific controls
The true name for this is Experimental Science
.
.
Science compares the unknown to what is already known
Science starts with provable facts about the material universe and then tests against those facts within the material universe
Science has no way of testing anything outside the material universe because it has no platform of facts to test against
.
.
The above question presumes that Experimental Science is the only way of understanding anything
yet if you search < parallel universe > and < multiverse > you will see that many physicists postulate the existence of other dimensions
Theoretical Physics uses mathematical models to go beyond the limitations of Experimental Science to predict what is there
.

If you search < supernatural experience statistics > you will see that the vast majority of the population of the world believe that a non-material dimension exists
.
If you search < images for world religion statistics > you will see that the vast majority of the population of the world also believe in a higher power (God) in some form
.
.
By labeling Experimental Science as ‘Science’
and pretending that if you can’t hit it with a hammer it doesn’t exist
The Terrified brainwash themselves into believing that all is well in their screwed-up world
.
.
By dismissing the declared experiences and common-sense beliefs of the vast majority as ‘ignorant, stupid and deluded,’
The Terrified fight hysterically to force their own self-centered sense-gratifying ‘reality’ onto a world that just won’t have it
.
.
What you have on Planet Earth is a population in which the massive majority are religious or spiritual or moral
and as such they keep their mouths shut, their heads down and lead decent, quiet, law-abiding lives
And you also have a fat, ego-bloated, bullying minority who believe in nothing
but themselves and who ‘large it’ over the quiet majority
.
.
The quiet majority know damn-fine that a non-material dimension exists
and it is in that dimension that the bullying minority will get what they deserve.
There is no assuming - the quiet majority know They know from their personal experiences of life
and they know from their own interactions
with what is spiritual and what is holy
