1. Satan is the personification of Lust. He started off as the god of procreation but, through personality, became greed. He is addiction. The Devil (Caligastia) is the god of consequences. Beelzebub is the personification of movement and is the method of travel between the material universes. The Living Darkness is the response of Eternity (Nothingness) to The Creation (Somethingness). The Darkness exists to extinguish all Life.

The Darkness can field what you might call an army. Satan can't. How can you control addict wraiths in a human pleasure-dome? Non-the-less Satan has some nasties who have percolated from this spirit waste. Satan, like all Creation gods is formed as a 'pyramid of a billion personalities', all without souls. His lower personalities are his officer corps. It is impossible for a human soul to gain any position in a hierarchy of the soul-less.
