Plato 1. According to Plato, this changing world on earth is a unique copy of a perfect and eternal 'living
being'.
Plato 2. The fleeting objects in this world of Becoming take their shape from the eternal and unchanging
Forms or Ideas in the world of Being.
Plato 3. The creator of the universe (the good 'framer') first created the soul.
Plato 4. He then composed the body of the world out of the four elements - earth, air, fire and water -
which form an indeterminate substance in confused motion.
Plato 5. The creation took the form of a sphere which revolves on its axis.
Plato 6. The creator then put 'soul in the centre and diffused it through the whole and enclosed the body in
it'.
Plato 7. The resulting creation was a 'blessed god.'

2. SWEETGUM'S COMMENTS.
Plato 1 & 2. I described this issue of our 'copy universe' in an unnumbered AC at paragraph 28 in Post 18.
Plato 3. In my para 7 of Post 15 I stated that the soul contains the root of the spirit (personality) and a part of God the Father.
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ... In him was life; and the life was the light of men." (John 1: 1-4).

To God, the word 'light' means personality, which is spirit. God the Father expanded himself to form God the Son (the Word). The Son came into existence with the souls within him.
Plato 4. Plato says that the whole of The Creation was constructed from Earth, Air, Fire and Water. In AC 64 I describe how these form each material universe bundle.
The Material Creation is a predominance of Earth / Water.
The balance between these two alters to form land in some areas and sea in others.
This is so, right up the scale, to the universe of Earth and the universe of Water (AC 35).
The "indeterminate substance in confused motion" was the 'waters' of Genesis1:6.

The origin of the 'confused' substance was the Living Darkness described in AC32.
The waters were separated by the bestowal of personalities described in AC31.
These then coalesced into earth and water. (More later).

The active element in 'separation' was 'Air.'
At a deeper level, 'Air' relates to 'personality.'

The substance of God the Father is righteous fire, which I shall call Living Fire.
The Creation (all that 'exists') is inside God the Father.
God the Father is in eternity and, for all we know, may be eternity.
The substance of God the Father is the underlying nature of eternity.
The underlying nature of eternity and the substance of God the Father is Living Fire.
The Living Darkness is the method that eternity uses to close anomalies.
The Living Darkness comes from Living Fire and so Living Fire must be within it.
Living Fire is the essence of soul. It is what makes soul live.
gods and goddesses are alive, with personality, but have no souls.
They exist in that form because they contain an element of Living Fire.
Their substance is Earth or Water.
The word 'Air' describes both the stuff that you breathe AND an element that you do not know, which is the underlying nature of the Lower Heaven. Because the word 'Air' is used for these two, quite different things, I shall avoid deeper explanation. It would be complex, confusing and not really of value to the serious student at your level.
So the whole of The Creation was constructed from "indeterminate substance in confused motion" BY resolving them into Earth and Water. 'Fire' was within them. 'Air' was the method of division. Plato is correct, but a) he was explaining a complexity in simple-to-understand terms and b) the phraseology attributed to him is constructed badly.

Genesis 1:2 - The 'waters' came into existence.
Genesis 1:3 - The bestowal of personality.
Genesis 1:4 - The separation of the 'waters.'

Plato 6. With regard to the diffusion of the SOULS throughout The Creation, Plato is not wrong, but again, the phraseology attributed to him is jumbled.
The body of God the Son is The Creation. You live within a living organism. The Son came into existence with the souls within him. They were then diffused throughout The Creation. All these elements are in the statement attributed to Plato, but they are in a confused order.
Plato 7. The term "blessed God" alludes to the Gift of 7, which I describe in Post 22.

A new AC message was delivered to me this morning, so I will give it you just as it came to me.
4. The background is that, to the best of my knowledge, no-one knows how large God the Father is - whether he exists in eternity or whether he is eternity. And by 'no-one' I am talking 'high up the ladder' in the Heaven realms. Well we know now. Here it is :-
